Pissed Off at Amazon

I go way back with Amazon and even once or twice ordered from them when I lived in Latvia. I enjoyed getting gift cards and ordering from Amazon food stuffs, snacks, DVDs, books and other stuff. Now they say that they think something is wrong and want to verify me. Well, sorry folks I cannot verify anything because I don't hve a phone. I am not buying a phone just for Amazon. So if that leaves me out does anyone know a site like Amazon from which I could order the same things?

WAlmart has alot of things. Can't you borrow a friend's phone or phone number for verification purposes?

@RasmaSandra It's probably the best solution. You really should have. basic flip phone for emergency purposes. TracFone has affordAble plans or you could get one of those govt. Free phones

We have a few other Sites here but I do not think they will suit you Talking ot Amazon I have good experience with them so far.

@allknowing that makes me very sad to lose something that I could get stuff to make me smile I guess I am just and old bat now and don't deserve anything anymore,

@RasmaSandra Weird. Lots of places, like my banks, are demanding verification much more these days but they also let me use my email. I only have a flip phone.

@Fleura no transport do not know to get around and it would take all my anxiety if I even attempted to wander about the city. I guess if nothing changes it will be looking to see what I might want from Walmart along with groceries once a month but very depressing to take the joy of this shopping away from me

@LindaOHio guess I will have to make a separate list along with groceries once a month but it was the joy of getting gift cards and special stuff separate from groceries for myself, I feel myself suddenly shutting off from everything hate this stuff,

Wonder what they think could be wrong?
Could you perhaps email Customer Services and ask a human being what the problem is
Hope you get it resolved to your satisfaction because it is good to be able to buy stuff on Amazon
