Summer is almost here.

It is still cool here in the 60's. I hope it does not get in the 100's like it did last year. I like it being a little cool over it being real hot. My wild flowers already came back from last year. They look really pretty.
Today my two young cousins had no school and wanted to visit me. They know I will take them some where fun. We went to the free part of the zoo and to get a sundae afterwards. They are 9 and 13 now. They grew up so fast.
That was my day.

I don't want it to get super hot here like it did year before last... Last year was hot but not like the year before. We're already getting into the high 80s some days here... I'm not happy with temps like that already and it isn't even summer yet.

@jstory07 We drop back to those temps at night or when it storms but spring is almost over now.

In my location, summer is almost ending, and the rainy or wet season is about to begin, which is quite the opposite. Based on my research, it seems that when I travel to California, the temperatures there will be somewhat warm. However, after checking online, the temperatures in California appear to be significantly cooler compared to those in my area.

@jstory07It really depends on the situation—if it rains while I’m at home, I’m all for it! The coolness it brings makes everything feel cozy and refreshing. But the moment I step outside, rain becomes my arch-nemesis. I mean, who wants to walk around like a soggy sandwich, dripping water everywhere? Not to mention the risk of catching a cold and turning into a sneezing, sniffling mess. Rain, you’re great indoors, but outdoors? Hard pass!

I have a feeling it's going to be a hot summer. I will hibernate in the AC.
