Seaweed Problems in Florida Part Two

The fact - the Atlantic Ocean has a toxic seaweed problem. Brown islands of algae floating about washing up on beaches and it's still growing season for it.
Fact- Sargassum hurts ecosystems and economies wherever its overgrown arms reach. And they are spreading into Florida’s waterways, coating marinas and beaches in the Miami area.

It's not good.
Can they not sort of harvest it whilst it is still out at sea.

I would imagine it would not be very pleasant.
The stuff that washed up on the shore here stinks to high heaven as well especially when the sun warms it up

@Ineeddentures worst thing is Miami is the place for hotel resort with private beaches so that could be even a bigger headache for resort owners

@Juliaacv I see in the photo some people on the beach but if that stuff starts really stinking you're right they'll head for pools
