A flower that I thought would flood our garden has disappeared. Mirabilis also known as four o clock flowers just mutiply through seeds that get scattered. The earlier lot did well and I was expecting a flood of those in the garden.
All whatis left are the white mirabilis I had both yellow and red and I do not see them
Very disappointed

We went yesterday to visit our ex neighbors, she had collected many seeds and gave me some. I am happy.

I´m very sorry. My mirabilis disappeared after a couple of years of drought.

@allknowing And I thought mirabilis were hardy.

In my case I think it is because of unseasonal rain

It's a shame they didn't all reseed. I had miniature hollyhocks that normally reseeded themselves every year at our last house but none of them grew the year we moved. They should have been going to seed by the time we moved in November.

The seeds must have germinated but heavy rain destroyed them

Here it has rained at the wrong time and heavy rain must have destroyed the seedlings.
