My spring onions garden

I planted these spring onions in a small empty sack last week. I bought spring onions and cut them, 2 inches from the roots to preserve the top for spinach salad or for a boiled fish with ginger. I noticed that after a week, they grew fast. This day I uprooted them but replanted the roots 2 inches up. It's super thrilling, lol. I no longer buy onions. Good for me , lol. Thanks for reading sharing it caring.

@celticeagle residents there might not be allowed to plant in their homes like in New Zealand.

@celticeagle why don't you try planting in a pot to relax. It's indeed relaxing if there's a small garden to take care of.

@cacay1 I'm glad you can reuse the bags. I try to reuse just as many items I purchase knowing less in the landfill.

@Fishmomma, hehe, I utilize the small sack. We have plenty of sacks. When we buy rice it's in a small or big sack containing 5 kilos, 10 kilos, 25 kilos and 56 kilos.

@Shivram59 I earned that it takes two years for red onions to be harvested. They also don't multiply unlike the sweet potatoes.

@cacay1 onions! My mom put onions and sometimes cabbage. But I hate cabbage, so my sister eats it and I don't. I love spring onions and onions in them.

@cacay1 it's great you don't have to buy it cause in the shop, it will never be the same taste as the home-made product
