I watched a very interesting travel video recently on Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It had several tourist spots to visit. One of them was this suspension bridge. I don't think I would be able to venture out on such a thing. Here is some information on the bridge: The bridge spans 460 feet (or 0.08699197 in miles and 140 meters ) across the Capilano River. It is suspended 70 meters ( 229.658793 feet or 70 meters) above the water. It was built in 1889 and has undergone several renovations, including a rebuild in 1956. It has 1.2 million visitors each year. There is also a transparent cliff walk. The picture is from Wallpaperaccess.com

I walked out on the bridge at the Gatlinburg Skywalk. It has a glass bottom in the middle. But it’s very sturdy, not a “swinging” suspension bridge, so it wasn’t bad to walk out onto.

There is one in Arizona, I think, too, with the glass bottom. Scary.

@celticeagle — there’s a walkout over the Grand Canyon with a glass bottom. NO, thank you.

Those kinds of bridges are not for me, I am petrified of heights. Our son and his wife walked that bridge when they were out west on their honeymoon. He is afraid of heights, and she isn't, he didn't think that he would reach the other side. Alot of people walking on it will make it kind of jump up and down, which is frightening if you have a fear of heights.

I am too. Yes, jumping up and down is just downright rude, I think.

Due to my fear of heights the only way I would cross on that bridge is to crawl across

I'm scared of heights. I can't remember if I went on that bridge when I was a kid, or not. I was there!
