Another shattered dream...

Broken glass

I have lost a couple of my favorite coffee cups this year and now it was the turn for one of my favorite glass tumblers to follow them to the bin. No dramas - an accidental bump and it lost its shape. This one was not of much sentimental value and it disappeared into the bin after a quick photo to remember it in the archives of Mylot. Do send those condolences messages and I'll bin them with this hero.

But that's where they are closest to the deceased.

I'll tell the glass that he had a funny end to life.

@pitstop When my daughter graduated from college 15 years ago, she brought home some plastic bowls that I really liked. I've tried to find some just like them ever since but they stopped making them. As we have slowly broken those bowls, I tell Pretty when I pitch one out. I threw out the last one of them a couple of days ago... She keeps telling me they were just plastic but I still liked them anyway.

I have some coffee mugs with sentimental value. They are over 50 years old; and I would hate to break them.

I've never gotten more than a few years out of my mugs. My mom has a few that are a few decades old
