Had an adventurous (and slightly exhausting) day exploring San Francisco via the Big Bus Tour. The journey started at Fisherman’s Wharf, then the route took us around the city’s famous spots—perfect for a quick overview without worrying about transport.
One of the most exciting parts was crossing the Golden Gate Bridge. It was quite windy and chilly up there, but still fun and enjoyable! The view was stunning, and feeling the wind whip by as we rode across made it even more memorable.
We also passed by the Palace of Fine Arts, which turned out to be one of the highlights of the trip. The place is absolutely picturesque from every angle—with its grand architecture, peaceful lagoon, and beautifully landscaped surroundings, it’s like stepping into a European postcard. Whether you’re taking a wide shot or just focusing on the details, every corner feels photo-worthy. (Photo taken at the Palace!)
After the tour, we wrapped up the day right back at the Wharf and treated ourselves to some clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl—a classic San Francisco comfort food! Warm, tasty, and perfect after a day out in the wind.
Definitely a tiring but super enjoyable day. Has anyone else done this tour or visited the Palace of Fine Arts? Or tried the clam chowder at the Wharf? Would love to hear your thoughts!

We stayed in Rohnert Park for three years and visited San Francisco several times, crossing the Golden Gate bridge. I have visited these places, but not in a single trip. We covered each one on different weekends at our own pace.
The picture is beautiful

All sounds like amazing places to visit. It's always nice to see tourist destinations. We get to learn about the culture and history of the place.
The Palace of Fine Arts looks huge.

I've been to California several times but never took any tours. I always knew where I wanted to go and used a map to get there. (Disney Land, to see the Pacific Ocean at Long Beach, and drove up the Coast Road to San Francisco to visit family, then to Modesto to visit family and then to Fresno to visit family and back to Bakersfield and I-40 to return home.) At each place I stopped to visit family, they took me to see the sights close to them. They were good trips and I had a lot of fun.

No plans as the current administration is not friendly to
migrant workers right now. So i stay as tourist as of the moment like what my visa is. I have been a very good tourist there for the past three times already so they would not suspect me of staying there for good.

Wow! Yes, I only see that in postcard! What a lovely place! I still need to save more dollars so I can also travel in the US. I also want to see the Golden Gate Bridge.
