Friday's shopping trip down town.

I went down town again on Friday. It was very warm weather so I went without a coat again. I went round the top path round Stowe Pool again, and I remember thinking, the last time I did this was when I went to Tuneless Choir! I went to the toilet by the Cathedral first.
After I'd been to the toilet, I went off to the photo expert shop and got some photos printed. It was hot in there so I got out my fan and started fanning myself. Then I went to WH Smith and got a BBC Music magazine. Next I went to Holland and Barrett and got 2 packets of the raspberry liquorice.
Then I went off to the pharmacy to drop off Mum's repeat prescription. Then, as Mum didn't want anything from the down town Tesco, it was straight to Iceland (the shop not the country). I only needed a paella from there, so I got that (cost £3.50) and then I headed towards the alley that I usually go through to go home, which is between New Look and B&M and goes passed the side of Iceland. But I couldn't go up there because there was an orange barrier across with a note saying "Graffiti removal." So I thought I'd take the opportunity to go back to the Oxfam bookshop. I looked for some books about Cardiff or Wales, but they didn't have any (I think I bought them all up!) I looked for some art books, but they were on a bottom shelf and it was hard bending down so I gave up. So then I went round to the classical music CDs. I ended up coming home with 3 CDs of Dimitri Shostakovich, a CD of Handel's Messiah and a CD of La Boheme!
Then I set off for home Dam Street Way. I was half way up Dam Street when I realised I could have gone up the other alley that leads to the same carpark as the Iceland alley, which comes out by the shoe repair booth! Anyway, I went to the toilet by the Cathedral again, and then I set off for home round Stowe Pool.
When I got home I gave Mum £1.50 change (from £5) and put the paella in the freezer. Then I put the things I got for me in my bedroom.
Then I had my lunch and watched some telly.
What are you lot getting up to today?
I hope you are all well.
Have a nice day.

Good luck at the dentist! I haven't been to the dentist since 2019!
I'm glad your 3rd cousin is coming to help you. I hope you can get plenty of stuff done. And I hope the contractor manages to get all the repairs done too.
I hope you are well.
Have a nice day.

Well, I get some pictures off the pixaby site for use as reference photos for my painting, then I get screenshots of Welsh learning infographics which I make into photo flashcards. Also, I sometimes print out photos of things Wynne Evans has put on Instagram that I screenshot. I like to print out photos of the decor in his house, and his little dog Ginny. Sometimes pictures of my little nephews and their dog Impy. There are also sometimes photos that I've taken myself!

@sharonelton Thanks for the explanation. That's a really great idea to take reference photos and to make photo flashcards. I hadn't thought of doing that.
