Just Another Routine Monday

Happy Monday Everyone! the sun is playing hid and seek today. One minute it's out and the next it's hiding behind some clouds. It would be nice to have a day where the sun stays out and we can enjoy a beautiful day. The weeks forecast calls for more rain 
The weekend came and went and now it's back to the weekly routine. Today is laundry day and I'm starting with my bed. Stripped it of the sheets and will put the same ones back on once they're washed and dried. Too lazy to pull out a different set and then have to fold and put these away.
Last night was the season finale of American Idol which turned out to be a really good season. So many very talented singers and when it came down to the final two it could have gone to either. Both deserved to win and I'm sure the second place guy will definitely get a record deal with someone.
Most of you who know me, know that I love to read. I just finished reading book 2 by William Kent Kreuger (Boundary Waters) and went to Amazon to see about book 3. Little did I know that book 1 was published years ago and the author is up to book 21 in the series. Geez, talk about being behind
.At least I have a whole bunch of books to catch up on.
Speaking of Amazon I have a package coming today and it's nothing exciting. A new water filter for my refrigerator and it was on sale. Typically this filter is usually around $50 which is expensive even though it lasts for months. Amazon had it on sale for less than $40 so I grabbed it.
Tonights dinner....chicken! I don't know why but for some reason we always seem to have chicken on Mondays. Add some baked potatoes and a vegetable and we're set.

Reasonably well, got a payment this AM from Paid Viewpoint And just got some trash and recycling to the dump. Going to check on the boat that probably has alot of water in it

We ran yhe dishwasher last night so it only needed to be emptied this morning.

@Marilynda1225 At least I didn't put it off until the last minute. That seems to be a bad habit of mine. It fills quickly, especially if George wants hotdogs on the daily.

No laundry today but I did do dishes and laid out some pork loin to thaw for supper tonight. I'm planning on baking it with new potatoes, chunks of sweet onion and diced bell peppers. I'd like some rolls with it but don't know if I'll make it to the store today or not. (I tried to wake Pretty up to go shopping but she just rolled over and went back to sleep. 
)

@Marilynda1225 You can't go wrong with pork loin. 
I bake it in the oven with Grey Poupon mustard and spices on it. I spice the veggies around it with Season-all and garlic powder.

Believe it or not I have pork loin on my menu for tomorrow. Certainly better than boring old chicken
Your potatoes, onions and diced peppers sound delicious. That's right up my alley but my daughter hates onions.

Our Monday had a couple of phone calls from my Moms cousins, re potting our cherry tomato plants, watching a little tv, sorting washing, and having a roast dinner. Lazy day, but enjoyable

Monday 2nd cousin picked up groceries and prescriptions, took out the trash and made me some sandwiches. Chicken is always good!

Weather is getting hot. Temperature goes up to 32C. Have to get up very early to take the morning walk.
