Wish I had some seeds to sow

Since it has started raining seeds will germinate the fastest. But I have no seeds to sow
What I had I had sown some time back and none survived. This is the time for balsom, marigold, zinnias and even some vegetables.
I have missed the bus. What is more important however as of now is to clena up the garden that is flooded with dry leaves. We had help yesterday but since itis raining today he will not be able to work
But life has to move on.

I have not seen my garden since my surgery. I am down in guest room to recover with my mom. My gardener sowed some seeds last week. But it Haa been raining heavy since then. I am afraid that the seeds would have washed away as the pots are flooded.

@allknowing Same here. Our city is already making headlines for heavy rain, pathetic drainage system, flooding and traffic woes.

@arunima25 I have been reading about it. I have welcomed the rain as that will save me from watering At the moment the maid is unwell and the gardener left in Jan.

@allknowing - I am checking around what the others have, low maintenance plants are the best for the balconies.

Have fun with your garden.
It is hard to clean everything when you don't have a helper.

I only have seeds from three years ago when I planted in the pots on the front porch. I don't know that they're still good. I'm thinking I'd like to plant some gourds and twine their stems around the posts up the front porch. I did that several years ago and liked the way it looked.

Three years and potency would be lost. You can give them a try. Have you got the gourd seeds as well or you are planning to buy them.

@allknowing Yes, I already have the gourd seeds. I couldn't find any when we were shopping yesterday.
If they grow, great! If they don't, I've only wasted a little of my time.
