Like a Fish in a Small Pond

Another short trip with my people from my department. This time it was just an overnight stay. They organized it a month ago and though I was busy at work, not going was not an option.
As the head of the department, I also need to personally engage with my subordinates as I believe it strengthens the work relationship.
We all had fun and actually we slept at 4 am unnoticing the passing of time. The place was just enough for us. The pool was just like a pond as it was small for a group of 25, yet we did enjoy it.
We did make plans to do it when we have the chance.

Yes, being a leader means we need to be there for our . I also have a schedule for a team building activity at the end of the month. I didn't see a photo, or maybe it's just me.

Never taken trips with people I work with, though I have gone out to dinner with them--come to think of it, we had...some kind of getaways, I forget what they called them--I guess you would call that a trip.
