The proposed salary guide for the new contract has been released

I couldn't attend the information meeting this afternoon after work because I had tutoring. My work BFF did though and she just sent me a picture of the salary guide. Yes I know that language changes are important but my primary concern when it comes to voting on a contract is the salary guide. I'm almost at the top of the guide. If this contract is ratified by the union then I'll receive a $4500 raise for next year. My base salary will be $96320 and I get a $900 longevity bonus on top of that which would make it $97220. (and then there are all of the coverages and tutoring hours) Unless there is some kind of insane language change then my vote is a yes. Looking forward to receiving all of the details later this evening.

Great! Too bad you only get half of it thanks to taxes.

Nice work if you can get it. Just what is your actual job title, anyway?

That's great. My husband and I working together used to make that much. Congratulations.
