Well that was a demoralizing experience

I was taking a word pair association test on another site, (for cash of course) as usual with tests like that, they have random words paired together like eel and sink, or guitar and stone, not ones that would fit together logically. There were 30 pairs in each of four segments. I did pretty well the first go round and remembered maybe 17 pairs, but it was downhill after that. Toward the end I had maybe 5 right. I think my brain got tired or something. Did you ever take a test like this?

@snowy22315 They don't sound easy.
I have enough trouble with the NYT Connections. I try that after I'm done Wordle.

I wouldn't have done it for fun. It paid about 15 bucks though..so worth it to me.

Yes
Question: Did they have a timer going too?
I don’t need that pressure in my life.

Yeah, for most of them you were allowed 12 seconds per response.

I have never participated in such a test, but I think it can enrich your vocab .

No, I knew the meanings of all of them. They weren't difficult words.

This site features them fairly often..they like to track the brains of old people and see how far gone we are...

Yes. I steer away from the stressful ones now. I don't like the ones that say you have to solve puzzles or remember items or anything like that.

I would only love them if I thought I was doing well on them.
