And the race was on!

So some of you may remember my last discussion about a neighbor kindly getting my packages while I was gone, but my last package hadn’t even been at my door 10 minutes before she took it to her house (according to the delivery text). However, I was ready today. I heard the delivery man “kindly” slam the box down in front of my door, and speed walked to my front door. Opened it, and picked up the package right as she opened her door. She smiled and said she was going to get it for me, and I told her I appreciated her thoughtfulness, but I usually hear the delivery person from Amazon or get a notification text from the Walmart delivery person. It was comical. I’m not going to complain as I love her vigilance, but I tell you, she’s keeping me on my toes!

It is good that she is offering to help, but at what time is she being a little too nosey watching your door and the comings and goings of deliveries? It is kind of creepy to me.

Well, this time I know she had to have heard it because I actually gave feedback about the driver slamming the package to the ground. But yesterday’s delivery was so quiet I didn’t even hear it. I’m really hoping this is just a temporary oddity. When I get that doorbell camera I’ll be better able to tell how quickly she seems to snag the packages. I really really hope I don’t have to speak to her about it.

Sounds odd to me, Didn't she know you were home or did she want to take your package?

The other day she muttered that she hated seeing people be ripped off. I think she must have had her packages stolen before, and made it her mission not to let anyone get away with stealing. She’s a little overzealous it appears, but I understand her motivation at least.

She should give you a chance to get it yourself, especially if she knows you are home.

I really wish she would. Hopefully, she got a little bit of a hint today.

she is one very alert person to race you to your delivery at your own front door. She is funny and maybe nosey

I can see this might develop into a bit of a race to see who can get to the door first! It sounds like she doesn't have enough to do!

I find her weird. Why do it when she knows you are there

It's good that she wants to help, but she could at least "watch" your package and wait 10 minutes.

She reminds me of my neighbor across the street. She is always watching the "goings-on" at my house. She misses nothing.
