We have loads of dry stuff in our garden which is far too much for our incinerator At the moment it is raining and there is nothing we can do to clear this from the garden. Once it dries up I am going to engage a tempo and get the stuff loaded and send it to a place where they will burn it and use it as fertilizer for their huge garden. There will be money spent for this activity as labour here is expensive and we will have to pay for the tempo Atleast we will have a clean garden

It can be hard to get rid of garden waste. At our house-sit, there are compost bins but the larger stuff can be put into wheeled bins and they are emptied each week by the council.

We have the incinerator and it does a fine job but this time we have far too much of it. The wet garbage gets into compost pits and the other dry stuff that cannot be burnt is collected by the government.

A clean garden is a good thing. We burn dry leaves and shred most of the other stuff. What we shred is left to die and then dig back in to the ground. I like burning stuff, it's good fun

I am glad that the garden waste was collected every week in Switzerland. We paid for a plastic strap to hang on the large bags we used to place the garden waste. It was not expensive, $ 4 every 20 kgs of waste.
