What's your Favorite Childhood Memory?

Good Morning MyLot, when I woke today, the first thing on my mind was a childhood memory of mine with my father, who has been gone fourteen years now. I was about ten years old, it was Christmas time, and my father had bought me a Nintendo Entertainment System for Christmas. It was out a few years, and I played them, mostly rentals at the store like you used to be able to rent VCRS. But, this NES was all mine, I remember hooking it up for the first time, and playing the games with my dad who also loved video games. I often wonder if he bought the NES just as much for him as he did for me. Either way, we had a blast that Christmas. So, I was wondering do any of you have a favorite childhood memory. Please feel free to share your memory, I would love to hear all about it.

I think my favorite is my Mother lifting me up to the window and talking to me to see the birds..I'd say I was under 2 yrs old.

That's awesome that you can remember that far back. I have very vague memories at 2 years old. Most of the clear ones are from 5 years and on.

That was really a cool bonding, playing NES with your dad. My favorite childhood memory was weekend breakfast by the beach with the whole family. We were blessed to be living a few meters away from the beach.

That sounds like a wonderful memory, I don't recall a time that my family had a family breakfast at all. We were always too busy. We did have dinner together every night though.

Speaking of NES, video games was also a fun childhood memory for me and my sibling. Ours was the Nintendo Family Computer and we would spent hours playing Mario Bros. That was our favorite game.
