Very Disappointed in Season 3 Finale of the Handmaiden's Tale

I was rather excited to see the finale when it dropped. I was looking forward to Jane getting to her daughter finally and bringing her home. We'll, that didn't happen. She did have some clarifying conversations. She will go on to fight. She knows where her daughter is and maybe she'll get her yet.
What a weird final scene too. She goes back to the actual home where she imprisoned and rated. Her last words were "I am Alfred." How weird. Like she's back in that world again. I'm confused and disappointed.

I'm thinking that maybe they left it open in case they do another season or something.

@RebeccasFarm .......I watched an account of the last episode, and it made me realize why it ended the way it did. Still am disappointed though.

I was disappointed and thought the ending was weird. Maybe they are leaving it rather open in case they decide on another season.
