Our 4-day seminar ended this afternoon. I am not ready to check-out yet so I decided to stay one more night at the hotel and planned to check out early morning. Time was so fast and though I expected that this training would be so boring, its over.
But then of course its not really over yet because when we go back to our work station we have to cascade what we got from the training in our department. It will take a lot of time for the pre-planning, implementation and the post implementation part. Anyway, we will be all in this together.
Good part is that I gained new friends from different parts of the region!
Photo is mine for the submission of our outputs

The real question is did you get paid for all that work you did for your company? Training IS considered work, right?

I am not getting paid for attending seminars like this as its a part and parcel of my work. as the head of my department.

@cherigucchi That's the kind of things we get paid here to do. Walmart got sued because they expected employees to do things like that without being paid. Walmart had to go back and pay everybody for the time they spent away from their homes.
Walmart's attorneys kept trying to say they forced people to spend time at seminars and retreats in different ways but the judge told them that no matter how they worded it, they still owed everybody compensation for time doing things for Walmart.

It's good you've made some new friends. Will you be able to keep in touch with them?

I wonder whether your government provide travelling and daily allowance for attending the workshop and seminars?
Anyway you will be able at least go to your home and relax
