Busy Weekend

Happy Tuesday Everyone! with the holiday weekend today feels more like a Monday than Tuesday. The weekend was busy. On Saturday we went to my sons for brunch and had a good time with the family from out of town (they came for the wedding). It was nice to catch up in a small group since many of us haven't seen each other in a long time. Sunday was quiet and that was fine with me. This past week was extra busy and I'm happy to be back to my quiet days. Yesterday we did a small bbq at my oldest daughters house with just burgers, franks and few sides. Nothing fancy but it was nice to kick of the unofficial start to summer with cooking and eating outside. Weather-wise yesterday was the nicest day of the whole weekend. If the afternoon rain holds off I'm thinking of grilling some chicken with a brush of Sweet Baby Rays honey barbecue sauce. I love chicken on the grill. If the weather doesn't cooperate I guess I'll have to figure out a way to cook it all inside. Grilling is just so much easier and far less mess and clean-up. Aside from the usual house stuff that needs to be done, there isn't much else happening here today. Hope everyone is having a good day and has something to smile about
