I have talked about my trip from San Jose to Oxnard by train. This post is about my friends who joined me This was the last leg of my US package tour When I reached San Francisco there was a message in my hotel room from one of my friends that they would come to pick me up and take me to their house. I had to give up my last lap of sight seein. She came with her daughtr and I spent a couple of days with them. She then accompanied me to stay with another friend who lived not so far away in San Jose The three of us then travelled - two of us were to visit my nephew in Oxnard and one would proceed further to go to her yet another daughter's place at Passadena This journey travelling with my friends was an experience to remember Two of us were received by my nephew at the bus stop as the train had decided not to travel to Oxnard We had to take a bus arranged by the Rail authorities at Santa Barbara Nice experience that was travelling through the city We spent two days at my nephew's and returned to San Jose where I spent a week with this frend. We visited Alcatraz Island which was the last leg that I had to give up to go with my friend After a week's stay I was put in a flight to Denver where another of my nephew was waitng for me. A great memory created.

Travelling with friends and family is always more special and memorable. I stayed in California for two years. We had relatives staying in San Jose and San Francisco. We used to have weekend gatherings at each other's place.

It is so nice to remember our trips. We also went to San Francisco and Santa Barbara and spent one week in San José. Later we went several times to the Silicon Valley, when my husband cooperated with Apple Computer.

@allknowing - We loved to visit Apple, an ancestor of my husband founded the city and my husband has the same family name. They always joked when we arrived at the airport "are you here to get the keys of the city?".
