Why Do You Think People Love to Share Bad News More than Anything About God?

Bad news vs Good News

In another site I posted a religious post encouraging people to pray the rosary. Hours later I got an angry hate comment for the first time. And then when I woke up there was another comment from someone else saying religion shouldn't be shoved down anyone's throat. Whuuut? Well this got me thinking... People are so used to seeing evil and sinful content online that when some people see anything about God they get rabid. Whoa. Like what's up with that? I don't do anything out of the ordinary, it's just a normal photo sharing like what everyone else are doing online. The only difference is the topic. I post things mostly about God and Catholicism. So, when did it happen that you're the bad guy when you post anything about religion? What's up with that right?

I grew up being said that religion and politic are something private. I know that many people dislike to discuss religion and to be told to pray or what they should do.

Oh I guess that's how it is in the Western world huh. Here it's pretty normal to post things abt it and it's even shown on the news whenever there are Catholic events and such. Imho God said to spread the Word so it's not wrong to post anything about it even online. Nothing wrong with doing it in public, the Muslims pray in public if they're not able to get in a mosque and such right? So anything Christian or Catholic is no different.

@LadyDuck It probably should be like that. In states now they bully people to know how they going to vote, Not so much here, unless you volunteer info but heard people in certain neighborhoods knocking on doors why do you have a Biden sign over Trump. That crap is crazy. I also dare any Maga's to where there hat in Cali, you will not make it far.

@LadyDuck I grew up in a very Catholic family, complete with aunts that were nuns and one priest. We were taught that there were many ways of believing and many different religions, to be respectful and not discuss religion with strangers, so I try to never do that.

I am just speaking for me and what I seen. Where I live and what not. California is different than most places in the world. I would say majority here do not believe in god anymore. I would say its close like 58 to to 42 or something like that. That being said, most agree people should be able to believe what they want if it is hurting no one. I think 90 percent of all Californians religious or not get duped by hate and conspiracy theories. My guess is most people have been shown is hate or negative thoughts from day one and not even the best religions can make that pain go away.

Crime is increasing day by day never thinking of paying for their sins on the judgement day. What you do in the world have to answer in front of God. Such hate now a days no love no prosperity no humanity.

@Mshafeeq Yep, that's true as well. We gotta pray for the conversion of sinners everyday to help each of us out in changing ourselves thru God's grace.
