First Stop.

Actually this was our second stop. The first one was a restroom stop. Now we are going to eat lunch here inside Subic Bay, Olongapo. This used to be a US Naval base that has been transformed into vibrant hub for tourism, commerce and adventure. No, this is not the final getaway. We probably still have one more hour to go. It has been years since the last time I was here. It feels all new but the familiarity of the place is still the same.

Glad to hear that. I know travel is far. How is it in your end?

Since we are from south of Manila, it took us around 4 hours

@rakski That's very tedious travel. Ihave experienced more than 4-hour travel sometime in 2009 in going to Cebu from Negros Occidental by land and by sea.

I hope you enjoyed your lunch at Subic Bay! It's nice to revist places to see what has changed and what hasn't changed!

@rakski I see. It must be like Clark, they're converting it into a business hub.

@Jenaisle yes and no. While they already have businesses inside Subic Bay, they still maintained how it looks from before.

Pretty interesting. What are there to do in the former US Naval Base?

@rakski Oh interest. That sounds like a very big navy camp. Are the restaurants expensive over there?

They transform it into business, tourism and adventure place. They have some establishment and offices there, resort and hotels and forest adventure as well

It can feel quite strange to go back to a place after quite some time away.
