Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 61 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. Where is the warm weather?!?!?! My body woke up at like 6am because that is what it is used to but I just got up, used the bathroom, and went back to bed for another 2 hours. Sooooo looking forward to not having to wake up to an alarm in a couple of weeks. I don't have any big plans for the day. It is sunny and cold but I am still going to go over to the pool to soak up some rays. I don't have an official pool pass (because the laminator was broken when I went) but I'm not going to be turned away as I've paid for access. The 16 year old lifeguard can call the property manager if he has an issue with it. It is supposed to rain later so I'll be happy to get a couple of hours in. When I get back I am going to get going on a couple of lemon pound cakes. They are always a hit. I made one for the not-so-nice neighbor who helped me last week as a thank you. I crossed paths with his girlfriend a couple of days ago and she raved about it. Anyway the coworker who gives me the duck eggs said she loves anything lemon so I posted about making one on FB yesterday. Another coworker said he would venture out of his classroom if I brought it in. I replied that I was making one for her but I'd be happy to make one for him too. Darwin knows I have enough lemons and eggs around here. It will give me something to do this afternoon. What's everyone else up to today?
