I know that I went missing for weeks. Several things happened since 1. Work pressure is getting into me. I am very pressured by work. Not help by colleagues who cannot carry their own weight. 2. I cannot sleep at night. One day I will get 4 to 5 hours of sleep during the work week and another probably 2 more during the weekend. I always have trouble falling asleep at night. Make worse at the beginning of the year. 3. I suffered from high blood pressure. I think is mostly attributed to the job. While it is still mostly around 130-150 on the high side, it is around 80/90 on the low. I do not have high blood before my cancer and this situation worsen when I got back to work.

I'm sorry you're having physical problems. High blood pressure is often caused by the stresses of work. And yes, having cancer can often make high blood pressure worse. I hope your doctor has you taking meds that help with the high blood pressure. Meds to help you sleep are also available but I couldn't take them. That type of meds didn't work for me.

My doctor refused to change my medication citing that it is not time to change them yet. Unfortunately I will have to live with the medication.

@DaddyEvil It is difficult to change a new doctor in the endocrine as the public hospital do not want to take on an existing cancer survivor especially after all the procedures been completed. Going into the private hospital is really expensive unfortunately.

@id_peace A doctor can change a medication at any time... If your doctor won't change a medication after you ask them to, it's time to change doctors, in my opinion.

I'm sorry you are having so many problems. I can understand the sleeping problem. There are many times I am up 24 to 48 hours before I get any sleep.

Oh you have been going through a lot. My best wishes with you. Have you been trying regular treatment for sleep problems. Any alternate medicine route available in your place?

@id_peace Yes Meditation can help. Or if there is a Reiki practitioner near you, you can consult them as well.

Omg I didn't know you had cancer I have been away for a while and haven't seen you since the last time I was here. Sorry to hear that work pressure is getting to you, colleagues not pulling their weight is not good. Sleeping badly is a thing I know well, and have done for many years. I have no idea how to fix it. Your job sounds like it would contribute to high blood pressure. Could you change your job?

Yes I had it last year but lucky the area had been removed and I went through Radio Active Iodine (RAI) treatment last year. I am really considering the changing of the job.

Do you have other things to do after work? I hope you can energize yourself by listening to music or anything that you love to do, to minimize stress due to work and people around you.
