A prop has grown out of proportion

We had propped a plant with the help of this white bougainvilae cutting and today that prop has grown out of proportion.
The cascade of white bougainvillae is a spectacle for passersby on the road. We hardly see it from inside unless we go out

I saw that.
It must be a spreading plant.
We have one like that we bought as a plant in a pot and now it is in about 10 locations in the garden
It must grow a runner and plant itself.

Because of erratic weather we did not get our usual quota of bougainvillae in different colours but just this one and that is facing the road.

@allknowing - I miss seeing the Bougainvillea, it only grows in some areas along the lake here.
