Six year old beauty queen, Jon Bonet Ramsey was found murdered in the basement of the Ramsey's home in Boulder, Colorado Christmas morning in 1996. For years the parents were suspects. Many other suspects were looked into but the case fell cold. Now so many years later her father is requesting a fresh look into the case since knowledge has come to light of a similar murder just 2 miles from the Ramsey home around that same time. Mr. Ramsey feels confidant that since there has been a turn over in the police department employees and the new DNA technology. He is meeting with authorities to make the request.
Do you think they will ever find the killer?

A similar case might be a clue for some psychological serial killer...who knows? It's been a long time and finding the killer might be very tough. But they should open the case again and investigate with other angles too. Justice can't be served in this case, but at least a closure would be good.

It was all botched early on but now they have new people in the department so maybe a fresh set of eyes will help.

@celticeagle Yes, it is very much possible with new set of people. They can add new perspective to the case. Though the closure is very tough, one can be hopeful of it if the intentions of the investigating team is at right place.

I hope that the detectives find the killer of Jon Benet Ramsey even though in my opinion a six year old girl is too young to enter a beauty pageant.

I do too. Maybe some news eyes on the case will help. I think that most girls around six like frilly things. I know I love to play dress up at that age. If the kid enjoys it why not?

@celticeagle I agree with you if a child wants to enter into a beauty pageant, that is okay.

Maybe. Cold cases DO get solved years later when fresh eyes have a look at them and new technology becomes available.

It would be nice to bring closure to that family at long last.

I hope so but that child should have never been turned into a beauty queen,

Some kids really enjoy dressing up. I sure did at that age.

I wonder if that isn't the case. They botched it up so badly early on.

Many say they feel that way too. He does get emotional when the subject comes up.

Yes
I think that they will find the killer.
It's quite likely that the killer would be the same person committed the similar murder
New technology will help the authorities solve the crime
