It Wasn't Different After All

Plans change, and then they don't. I told you earlier that our guests had decided for our last camping trip that they would opt to sleep on the pull out bed in the living room/kitchen area, but last minute when they arrived they decided to opt for the bunk room. So, I didn't need to change anything about how we did things and didn't have to set up the bunk room as a morning coffee/resting spot so as not to disturb our guests. I much prefer it that way, so it worked out good. All in all, aside from our electrical problem we encountered that almost forced us to move the camper, I'd say it was a good trip and all went well. It's the third season they've camped with us, and we already have plans for next year. They even want to add an additional night to the trip. Normally we do three nights. Next year it looks like we will do four.

How nice it looks to see that you not only planned your trip but also were successful in completing it without any issues! It's always very exciting to camp like this. But the real fun is when you camp outside in the open and you're able to still complete your trip staying in the outdoors leavng the comforts of your home. Nice!

@porwest You are right. There is so much to enjoy when camping like this. And looks like you are used to doing such outings. You are staring at your fourth outing next year.

@abhi_bangal Generally speaking, we get about 4 camps a year out of it. I'd like to increase that. But we'll see.

We like the best of both worlds camping this way. We get our creature comforts AND get to enjoy a change of scenery and the outdoors. I call it a win-win situation.

Not always easy when you are going on a camping trip with others, especially when you are in enclosed quarters compared to a hotel room where you would have your own space.

That's the nice part about the bunk room. It's basically a separate bedroom for guests.

Pretty soon, you'll be living out of your RV and traveling the country from one place to the next! lol

Gosh. That would actually be awesome. Maybe. Kinda sorta. I do tend to think I like having some sort of "home base." Although, I'd be willing to try it for a year to see if I really wanted to do it before taking a major plunge.

It sounds like it should be easy but it isn't everyone that you can spend too much time with at such close quarters.

We kind of got around to 3 minimum to really make each camp worthwhile considering the pulling setup and takedown. I'd do a week if I could.
