Only Fools and Horses. A British sitcom that brought me back to life in these early summer days

Have you watched it? It aired since 1981 until 2003 and it had 7 seasons, including some specials, i think. Cast includes, David Jason (Del Boy or Del), Nicholas Lyndhurst (Rodney), Tessa Peake-Jones (Del's wife), Gwyneth Strong (Rodney's wife) Roger Lloyd-Pack as a part of Del Boy's pub team and other great actors. The plot is basically about 2 brothers, Rodney and Del, who are trying to get rich and ensuring themselves a better living but that isn't coming that easy and the star of their team is of course, Del. They are driving a tricycle car, live with grandfather then uncle Albert in a tiny flat and have (un)fortunate events with things they are sellling and other which make us, audience laugh all the time but it is also making a connection between us and them cause, it is a social background as well, not only a comedy. Once in a while, brothers say the beautiful sentence that this year next year they will get rich;they will be millionairs and in later seasons, they did, which made me really happy for them. So, yes, currently watching this on my telly. I didn't know they made it into a musical as well.

My mother used to enjoy a couple of British sit-coms on T.V. I remember one of them was called "Are You Being Served?"

I am not familiar with that. I think I have watched a few American sitcoms. Is Breaking Bad a sitcom? and Game of Thrones. I mostly watched K-dramas such as Descendants of the Sun, When Life Gives You Tangerines, Squid Game, etc.

@grenery8 Oh, you've watched Squid Game. I am looking forward to Squid Game 3 too. I hope the police will finally find the place and shut it down.

@Ineeddentures i watched some episodes and it took me to adopt to his serious behaviour but it was great too; very talented actor. i'm glad he's still alive but probably not acting anymore.
