There's some fun in fantasies. Right? And fantasies have the biggest and strongest wings. So come. Let's take a flight of fancy. Let's say you got the power to time travel. What do you think you'll do?
Will you like to go back in time? Or will you go in the future? If you go in the past what will you like to repair - relations, your job, your health, etc?
If you go in the future, what's threat that you'll change that you see today and won't like to take out to the future?

A music lover you are, it seems. Music always uplifts our mood. It's a stress buster. I always listen to my favorite songs when I feel the need to. The tunes, the instruments used help us relieve the stress.

We are humans and we are bound to make mistakes. Everyone of us do. And we can correct them too. So, it feels great to see that you want to repair the past things and not take them in the future.

@rakski Actually, your reply has given me a new dimension to think about what I can amend if I get a chance to time travel.

That's a very wise decision you take if you got to time travel. Such kinds of things always happen with us. There are times when we take a certain decision and later on it feels like we shouldn't have done that. But if it is possible in any way to alter that, even I would be happy doing that.

All I want is to return to Riga, Latvia where I lived for 20 years where I lost my husband and now I would like to return and embrace all the memories I once ran away from,

OMG! You are a strong lady, no doubt. People generally don't want some, not some but any bad memories to stay. And here you are, going back in time to embrace those days again.
Salute to you!

1930s?? It's only around 100 years. Why don't you do back a bit more??
I mean going back a few centuries in fact. That would give you a better feeling of your really "going back".

@abhi_bangal Well, admittedly, there are many times in the past I'd like to see. But those would be my first choice. A LOT has changed in 100 years.

@porwest "A LOT has changed in 100 years." - Yeah that's also true. My father used to tell me that their generation in particular has seen so many changes that hardly any other generation might see again. Because there was lack of proper electricity, the roads were only built in bigger cities, the communication system was also very bare minimum. They used to depend on postal services because landline network also wasn't fully developed, forget about mobile networks these days that we have today.

Time travel.
Oh that's an easy one.
I want to go forward in time say 1000 years and see what Scotland looks like in the year 3000 and see what my family looks like as well.

You are a real patriot, my friend. It looks like you love your country quite a lot. And we all should be like that.
You didn't ask for anything personally for you or anyone else. The answer to my question came as you think more about your country than anything else.
Respect and hats off!

@Ineeddentures I wish my every countryman becomes like you. A lot of problems will automatically get solved. I too carry the feelings for India. And I'm proud of myself for this. You people at least didn't have that much corruption like us. So being patriotic is the best thing ever we can do for our country.

Yes, in a way or two, even I'd be happy to undo the assets sales. But that has actually helped me come where I'm today.
In a way, you can say, I've no grudges against my time

Will never go to the future, put me in the past. I think I am built for that time more, but maybe we all are considering we know some things from the past..
