San Francisco Animal Control Officers answered an emergency from persons who were inside of the Chase Center on Monday May 12 when three baby raccoons were trapped in a wall begging to be rescued.
Lieutenant Steph Ryer was able to rescue two baby raccoons who were stuck on the wall safely.
Two other animal control officers were able to free the third baby raccoon safely. All three baby raccoons were taken by the Yggdrasil Urban Wildlife Rescue to be taken care of by the veterinarians.

Cute, but it's a good idea for that worker to be wearing gloves.

You are right that rescue persons should wear gloves during their work of rescuing animals.

Oh wow baby Raccoons
I love those little Raccoons
If we were allowed to keep them as pets I would keep a few I think.
They are really clever.
So glad to hear that all 3 were rescued and taken into care

Racoons are wild animals, and can bite hard, and scratch you too, and if bitten by a raccoon, there is a danger that you might get rabies from it too. A raccoon's bite is much stronger than a cat's bite is. It is good that these rescuers were prepared, and wore thick gloves, to make the rescue.

I have heard that raccoons do bite hard and cause sicknesses.
