Oh my days ......how spiteful ....I am so annoyed !

A neighbour has had a skip delivered to get rid of loads of stuff. My partner spoke to him last week, before the ship arrived, and had some items and gave him some money for them. he talked at some length with him saying he would be interested in seeing anything else he was getting rid of. The neighbour agreed on this.
My Mom went over this morning and said my partner was on his way home and please keep any more items til he had look at them , as arranged with him last week.
He agreed....then about an hour later a scrap man arrived and has taken loads of stuff !!!
I am so annoyed as we asked twice including just before the scrap man came and he agreed.
The skip only came yesturday so will be here for a few weeks yet and the scrap man comes every few days .....
I feel the neighbour, who we have lived by for 50 years , has been spiteful in letting all the stuff go.

I have a question... Does your neighbor control when the scrap man comes?

we get several scrap men around every weekend and usually one during the week. My point is that we had an agreement,the items were going to be taken away and he was going to be making money from it. The skip will be for weeks and scrap men will be around at least three or four times a week....it would be no hardship for him to keep the agreement and he would still have the items moved and make money. I just feel let down ....we had an agreement and my Mom had spoken to him an hour before AND he knew Rod was on his way.

@Traceyjayne I'm sorry that happened.
If the skip will be around for weeks, doesn't that mean the guy will still be getting rid of more stuff you guys can buy from him?

@DaddyEvil all the good stuff has gone ....i saw it going in the scrap mans cart.
It is the principle of it all.
