I went to Tuneless Choir again on Wednesday night. This was my fourth week.
Sara, the choir leader, gave us more details about upcoming events. She also said that if we wanted Tuneless Choir T-shirts we needed to buy them from the official Tuneless Choir website, and get them sent to her because then we'd pay less postage.
We also had 3 new members join our choir on Wednesday!
These are the songs we sang on Wednesday:-
Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus
Happy Together by The Turtles
Letter from America by The Proclaimers
Dream a little dream of me by Mama Cass
You really got me by The Kinks
You to me are everything by The Real Thing
Will you still love me tomorrow by The Shirelles
Getting to know you by Julie Andrews
Georgy Girl by The Seekers
Red Red Wine by UB40
I love to boogie by T-Rex
It's still rock & roll to me by Billy Joel
We actually finished about ten minutes early, so Sara said we could sing a few extra songs. So we sang these aswell:-
Flowers by Miley Cyrus
Unstoppable by Sia
And we really murdered Letter from America by The Proclaimers!
I walked there and back again, and I managed to keep out of any rain, which I was really surprised about.
A few minutes ago I ordered my Tuneless Choir T-shirt from the main Tuneless Choir website. I asked them to send it to our choir leader like she asked.
What are you lot getting up to today?
I hope you are all well.
Have a nice day.

Thank you very much. Yes, I am enjoying choir. On Saturday we are singing at the Christ Church summer fete in Lichfield. Dawn from Church is giving me a lift there. I still don't know about a lift back as I don't know what time it ends.
What are you up to today then?

We're called Tuneless because we can't sing in tune!
Or we lack confidence. It's about letting everyone sing, even if we can't carry a tune in a bucket!
And I'm telling you, we really did murder Letter from America by The Proclaimers!

The T Rex song is one I remember very well from my youth.
It's a great song.
You will enjoy singing it for sure
.
The Proclaimers songs are very easy to murder.
If you really want to murder a song by them get the lady to look at Sunshine on Leith
It's a great song too and we hear it on TV every week when Hibernian Football club matches are on the telly
