Alabama Law Enforcement Officer rescues an injured owl on a road

Injured owl rescued by a kindhearted police officer.

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALCE) Captain Jason Black was driving on a road on U S Highway 29 near Troy Alabama on Thursday morning when he saw an injured Barn Owl on the other side. I am sure that Officer Black did this act of rescuing the owl and took the animal to the Alabama's Department of Conservation and Resources in Troy out of the kindness off his heart. Conservation Officers took the injured owl to the Auburn University Raptor Center to be taken care by the veterinarians and hopefully make a full recovery. Link is abc3340.com/news/local/owl...

At least the owl might have been easy to spot, as it does seem to be a rather large one. I hope it recovers, as it might have been hit by a car.
