Dog that fell into a swimming pool rescued by police officers in New Jersey

Robbinsville Township Police Department officers responded to an emergency call from a concerned person that a dog that had escaped from his home was drowning in a swimming pool on Saturday May 14.
Robbinsville Township Police Officers James Pica and Michael Slininger were able to rescue the dog who escaped from his owner's home who is named Zissou who was in the swimming pool safely.
Zissou and another dog who escaped from their owner's home were taken by the police officers to reunite the dog with his owner.
The owner of Zissou thanked the police officer for their service to the community.

The dog appears to be a small puppy who mostly likely ran away from home. The puppy seems to be okay.

Perhaps, he went for a swim, then realised that he could not easily get out, as it is hard to jump from water. It was good that the alarm was raised, and the dog was rescued.
