I guess most people are aware that cinnamon can help balance blood sugar it does that and much more. Who knew that something so delicious, could be so beneficial? It is a sweet perk..pun intended!

Cinnamon is delicious, healthy and safe to eat in small amounts. If taken with some medications (statin or Tylenol) it can cause liver damage.

@wolfgirl569 You are right. I know an 87 year old lady who never goes to the doctor and is in good health. She uses herbs. She likes garlic alot.

A little cinnamon sprinkled over a section of orange is delicious. And my late grandmother’s doctor had her take cinnamon capsules for her diabetes. Along with a good diet, it helped keep in check. But the cinnamon did aid her.

Indeed, Cinnamon has a lot of beneficial properties. However, one should avoid its excess. Once I was adding Cinnamon sticks to my morning Milk tea (by boiling them). Yet it kind of caused some gastric discomfort. So we must use it but in a limited quantity and I think it is "Warm" by nature (An Ayurvedic principle) so must be consumed more during the winters.

I think it helps friend. It stabilizes his blood sugar. Maybe you were taking the wrong amount. I am sure the points in the article didn't come out of the blue
