So, I was able to borrow my friends loyalty card for the supermarket that had a promotion on recently. We went today and I was able to use her points to get a large pyrex dish ....family size and two small pyrex dishes ...individual portion size. Together they should have cost £66, but by using the points they were totally free. I am pleased she offered to let me claim the freebies and the dishes will indeed be very useful.

Once my arm is better and I can get back to cooking they certainly will get used often. Cooking is one of my passions.

@Traceyjayne Which arm is bad? Are you right or left handed?

@Ineeddentures I've broken my left arm. I am right handed. Problem is that it is the upper part of my arm. Not like most folks who just have a cast on their lower arm and can move around quite freely. I have a brace on which is held in place by a very tight strap that goes around my back. As I have short arms .... i am not very tall so everything i have is quite short ....the brace they originally put on , although it was the smallest was still too big. I was supposed to keep my arm elevated but the brace was then cutting off my circulation.....my fingers went numb. Last week they had to cut the brace to help the numbness ... is that a word !.

As long as you can use them, free things are great!
