How do you like your chocolate chip cookies?

I like my chocolate chip cookies, or any other cookies, slightly chewy and soft. I know these are not healthy. I have two favourite spots to buy them - Subway and Woolworths (a supermarket chain). Maybe I should try and bake cookies myself. How do you like your cookies? The image is the cookie box we bought at Subway on the weekend.

These are yummy. They are not hard to make yourself if you want to try. It's probably a lot cheaper too.

I'll get there. I hope they don't look like my coffee art though.

@JudyEv Hands that can't do coffee art are unlikely to make good looking cookies.

I love cookies and any with chocolate in are my faves. We have Subway here in the UK and their cookies are lovely. Sadly all of our Woolworths stores have closed down.

Soft, not necessarily chewy.

I wonder how you can make them soft, but not chewy.

I like my cookies soft and chewy, too. If you bake them yourself, they still won't be "healthy" but will definitely be cheaper by the cookie.

Yup. The supermarket cookies are not too expensive, but baking them yourself will be even cheaper.

@pitstop I think we paid $5 for a dozen chocolate chip cookies made at the grocery store. They're really good. My daughter buys them maybe once a month.

I never had the way I want it. It's always crunchy as we get our the supermarket. It's been a while I haven't had them. But yes I would like them to be soft and chewing but crunchy they're not KFC

Oh well this is a hard one It depends I do like them slightly chewy and soft but if I put them with ice cream I like them to have a bit of a crunch especially the.chocolate chips which then melt.on the tongue before slipping down my throat slowly. I do like the cookie box. It's quite cool

That's a pretty good explanation. I prefer brownies with ice cream to cookies with ice cream - may try this combo again as it's been a while.

@pitstop Well it would be lol as I have been eating chocolate chip cookies since the 1960,s I have noticed of late though that.the.chicolate chips in the Maryland brand are less chocolatey than they.were.and.the.coomke is thinner and has a lot less sugar in it. So I need to rethink my brand voice. Cadbury are quite good
