Wynne Evans is starting up his own radio show from his own home. He doesn't need the BBC! So, last week he did some Facebook lives on Mon - Thur. I missed the first one because I was out shopping and getting my repeat prescription, then when I got back there it was and I'd missed it by 3_hours! Anyway, I watched it back that night in bed. The second one, on the Tuesday, I managed to catch the last 10 minutes of, and I again watched it back that night. He was testing out the equipment and on the Monday he said they'd done a test broadcast. Wynne said that because he was on his own he wouldn't be able to take calls, but he would be able to make them. On the Wednesday I got up early because Wynne said he was doing a Facebook live from 9:00am which is the time his previous radio show started. I got up at 7:00am and had my pills and my breakfast and was back in my bedroom for 9:00am for the Facebook live. People were writing messages and he was reading them out..i put that I would answer his phones for him. He said that's great, when we get the actual phones set up. He called up his brother Mark and a fella nicknamed Template Nige to check the telephone lines. On the Thursday I got up early again to watch his Facebook live. This time I asked what breed his dog Ginny is, and he said she's an Australian Labradoodle. I asked him if he'd like to join my Facebook group Supporters of Wynne Evans, and I'd like to make him an admin, and he read out the message and said, yeah, love to, you're support has been amazing. (But he still hasn't joined the group!) Later I told him I would send him the songs we sang at Tuneless Choir for him to consider playing on his radio show. He read it out and said, Yeah, you can do that, Sharon. Not promising I'll play them though! (I think he thought we were singing hymns!) Wynne didn't do a Facebook live on Friday or today because he's gone on holiday to France, but there will be Facebook lives tomorrow, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and maybe Saturday aswell. Then on Sunday he's arranged a walk in Cardiff for him and some of his Wynners. Then next Monday is the launch of his new radio show! It's all very exciting. I'm hoping we can have a "Wynners Walk" in Lichfield some time. What are you lot getting up to? I hope you are all well. Have a nice day.

I hope this works out well for him. I'm sure he's been humbled by all the support people have shown him.

@Ineeddentures That's sad to hear. Nothing much you can do about it but it's good he is bouncing back (or trying to).

Yes, I hope so. He deserves a break. He's got so much support. He is so grateful for all the support he's got. He says it got him through the dark times.

More and more I think the networks will have much less influence. Media has changed dramatically, and there's actually quite a bit more benefit to being on your own. Like many before him, once they have their audience, they have their audience, and no matter what the networks decide, the audience gets the final vote.

@sharonelton Bill O'Reilly and Tucker Carlson had similar stories. They are bigger than ever since the networks said their goodbyes.

@porwest There you go! People are going to be deflecting from BBC Radio Wales to the new Wynne Evans show! Even Matty Four trees has made the move!

That's right, and I know that Wynne Evans new radio show is going to fly. He's going to be on This Morning in just a moment.

@LindaOHio I did, thank you. He explained himself very well on This Morning and anyone who didn't believe him is either blind or stupid! I hope everything is going well for his launch on Monday because he was having a few technical issues. He's not that good with tech and he's had to have people help him.

It hasn't started yet. It starts on Monday. But he's been doing Facebook lives to test the equipment and give us updates on how it's going. He's going to be on This Morning in just a moment.

I'm fed up with the BBC over reacting to every little thing that presenters and stars in other areas do. I see now they have suspended Jamie Borthwick as well.

Yes, it's like you can't say anything anymore. I think they're over compensatng because of mistakes they made in the past like Jimmy Saville. I don't know what Jamie is supposed to have said, but it's all being taken out of proportion.

@Ineeddentures That's absolutely right. Wynne is going to be on This Morning in just a moment. We will all be able to listen to his radio show, and the listeners from The Other Show will be deflecting to that!

@sharonelton Totally out of proportion It annoys me because we pay their wages and we should decide who we see on our screens
