Evening chit-chat

I had a talk with my mentor who helped me in my final year project dissertation. She wished me luck and gave me her blessings for my upcoming journey. She really was a sweet soul who always tried to help
. My other friends have had mentors who made them do all the work and would vanish when it was their turn to clear doubts or navigate them through.
Its evening here. Made tea for myself and mom. I took a nap for like 30 minutes in the afternoon.

I'm glad your mentor was a good one. 
I'd get upset if I had a bad mentor.
It's a good enough day here. My left hip and leg hurt this morning. (My sciatic nerve is giving me trouble again. It feels like an electric shock from my hip to my calf when I walk or try to lift my left leg...)
I need to go in and get a shower so Pretty and I can pick up some groceries from the store. We also need to work in the yard today, mowing and pulling weeds from the flowerbed. (I hope Pretty will help me with the mowing. A lot of the time she won't. She says that's my job even when I'm sick or hurt. 
)

I hope Pretty helps you. Maybe just skip mowing the yard until you get well

@Dreamerby Thanks... We can't skip mowing it. If it gets too much taller, the city will mow it and charge us $400 for doing that.
She says she'll go out and mow this evening when it starts getting cooler outside.
