I got to taste pan cakes and maple syrup when I was hoidayihng in the US. It was at my niece;s place that she made them for breakfast Back home I did try to buy a bottle the syrup but was not sure how genuine it would be When online shoppers market anythig that is normally a product that is not available locally then the question of its genuiness crops up. I have had that experience with Belgian chocolates They were not Belgian at all. The only chance I have is to get someone to get it for me when they plan to visit India and that will be a pretty long wait. Image credit:

I remember maple syrup wasn't common here at one point. I think you can buy the genuine stuff now. I like golden syrup just as much.

I have lost trust in buying anything locally that is not of Indian origin I had a bad experience with the Belgian chocolates. What is golden syrup made of?

Maple syrup on pancakes is my favorite. I had a lot when I was living in Canada.

I always buy Canadian Maple Syrup that is the best. I am glad it is imported here, I serve with waffles.
