Looks like a cloud burst

I have no idea what a cloud burst is but the way it is pouring here since the last few hours non stop it could perhaps be what people call a cloud burst The rain is just gushing and the garden which normally never gets flooded I see flowing water despite proper drainage. There must be some disaster around here somewhere about which I suppose we will get to know in the news later in the day. And in the heav rain our Peppie boy returned from wherever he had gone to get some fresh fish He was a bit drenched and was busy cleaning himself.

Happy to know that Peppie is back home. We had heavy rain for couple of hours in the night and then again around 10 in the morning. Now it's clear and sun is out. North Indian states are struggling with roasting temperature and heat wave alerts.

@allknowing Peppie is behaving like a spoiled brat teenager. . How is the weather now? It's crazy around the world. Extreme temperatures and natural disasters are everyday's stories now.

That is not how it should be. There seems to be no consistency anywhere in the world.

A cloudburst is normally a large amount of rain falling all at once, possibly with thunder and lightning, that can create local flood conditions. It also might include hail at the time the heavy rain starts. Cloudbursts typically last for a few minutes (I mm per minute for short bursts) to an hour (50 mm per hour) or longer periods, according to the Swedish Weather Service.

@allknowing I would guess you've gotten cloudburst conditions. I hope it doesn't continue the heavy rain and flood local areas.

Glad to hear that Peppie boy can home from wherever he has been. The heavy rain must have got him wet or water from bushes or something did. A cloud burst is just what it seems like A.ckoud bursting and dropping it's rain all over the places underneath it

Peppie is smart. He has dodged rain somehow and how he does it only he knows He was wet but not much. This rain has been the worst in my life time.
