The doctor who came today said that a bone density exam is important. Sure it is. But the deal is that getting one when you are in your senior years because you then know how careful you have to be. We all have different ranges of activity and knowing your bone density can tell you if you might need to quit some activities or if you are good to go on with them. We have to be careful with our bodies.

We do indeed have to be careful with our bodies as we get older.
I haven't got a clue about my bone density.
Do you have to pay for this ?

I had one not too long ago, and I now take calcium and vitamin D because it showed osteopenia.

I just had my bone density test. I don't have Osteoporosis; but I do have Osteopenia in my hip. My PCP suggested more foods with calcium. I already take calcium and D3 supplements.

Good! I take the D3 and drink a lot of milk and eat as many eggs as I can.
