The India Air Boeing 787 crash that left only one survivor sent chills across the world. I feel there is a problem with these Boeing crafts. A few years ago another horrific accident claimed the lives of all on board. I personally only flew in a helicopter but the though of boarding a Boeing sends chills in my spine. May the families find peace and the departed rest well. Quick recovery to the sole survivor!

Yep. First fatal crash of a 787 ever.I will be interested to learn what caused this. Were the flaps down? I cannot tell from the video. But modern airplanes have warning systems for incorrectly set flaps. Did that fail? Did both engines fail? If so, why? And on and on.

@TheHorse It seems the flaps were down. I doubt that both engines failed. A passenger who had debarked two hours before when the plane landed declared that there were plenty of problems. This passenger (an important manager) reported observing unusual behavior with the aircraft's flaps and air conditioning system. Of course they never listen, the important is not to keep those big birds landed.

This crash was just so tragic. I think this might have severe repercussions for Boeing.
