There is no limit to upgrades no matter what the gadgets. Mobiles now have four camaeras and users will flock to get those mobiles no matter what cost
I can understand professional photographers going for such mobiles but ordinary people also rush to get them and hardly reap their benefit.
I have a camera and a feature phone The camera lets me choose what to cick and when to clcik.
Are you gizmo crazy?

@allknowing Yes, it came with 3 cameras, it takes great photos. I just checked and also my old smartphone (6 year old) has 3 cameras. I like that one more than the more recent one, it has great lenses, I had some very good photos taken with that one.

I think professional photographers would still prefer bespoke cameras as opposed to mobile phones with cameras. I have 3 forward-facing cameras on my phone, and it works great in good sunlight. I usually don’t keep up with the latest tech, mainly due to cost. They are so brilliant nowadays. I love my phone!

My phone which I bought in 2021 is still working so I won't buy a new one. It has two lens and it is all I need whenever I need photos for documentation purpose. I also want to but an iPhone but I am saving money for more important things.

Priority should be for things that are need based and I see you are doing it that way

Sorta. I do not have to have “the latest and greatest.” I replaced my “old” iPhone last year…with an iPhone 14, two model years below the current iPhone 16. I’m Apple centric, though: everything I have is an Apple product.

Having allegiance for a particular brand to my mind is normal. I notice you have replaced your old gadget/s but have not gone in for the latest. That is because I am sure you do not need those upgrades. Good thinking
