Simple hibiscus

There was a time our garden had colour only because of the various colourful hibiscus that flowered every day.
None have survived all because of the trees that have devoured attention On the one hand trees provide oxygen and yet they take away the colour from the garden
I chose the trees specially during the pandemic that helped us have more oxygen around us.
What do you prefer trees or flowers?

@LadyDuck 680 years is a long time and it is a witness to so many things that happened in that period If only trees could talk.

With the newly purchased lot, I don't think planting trees will be okay. It's size is only 150 sqm. But I think I can also plant moringa at the back of the house. I'll be planting mulberry trees in the pot. Perhaps if I could buy a bigger lot, I would consider fruit bearing trees.

I will work on my garden less as it becomes more self sufficient in looking after itself
