America is not going to love you any more. You have your supporters. You are not trying to change anyone. You are not changing your tune.
Dude here is a trick for all presidents moving forward. If you need a song and some marching. Marine boot camp is always open to the commander in chief. Don't you want some privacy. Get it away from it all. Why do you think the whole world needs to see that troops are loyal to you when by oath the must be unless you go against constitution.
Cry at MCRD San Diego or at South Carolina Depot. Marines, love showing their drill skill and its just for you Mr President.

@LadyDuck I am trying to read up on it to see if I am being fair. I did not hear about a parade on their 200th birthday. I did read Navy and Marines kind of celebrating all year because its their 250th birthday too, but Marines is in November. Navy and Marines kind of tied at the hip as far as branches go here in the US.
Army gets the parade because that is the date they were founded, 1775, June 14th of our lord. Which is Also Trumps Birthday, and why everyone making a stink.Navy was October 13th, 1775 and Marines was November 10th, 1775. What did the world do to us for those three branches to form?

I read another post here about the same parade. This sounds like a terrible waste of taxpayers money. President is behaving like a whimsical overgrown child.

We did have military parades for world war 1 and 2 but that is understandable because of the ramifications if we lost. I think even first Bush has one after first Gulf war, but hence war and this is 250th birthday for Army and Navy And Marine Corps really. Their party is in November, but these guys usually just do their own thing where it does not cost tax payers to much.
I am sure they would rather have money for their equipment than this parade. Who knows whats going on with this administration.

Trump has made it clear why he wants the parade. He honors our military and our veterans, and he wants to show his support by putting them on display. The only reason anyone has any trouble with this is because it's Trump who wants to do it. If it were any other president, no one would care or even bat an eye.
