Trump’s idea of detaining immigrants is not a solution

It has emerged that the US president has plans of detaining and even detaining illegal immigrants. I feel that is not a good idea since most of them will be a burden as prisoners. For instance those from Kenya and other countries are likely to be detained in some of the most expensive prisons across the various US states.

Maybe if he does detain ILLEGAL immigrants, it might deter more would be ILLEGAL immigrants from trying to gain entry ILLEGALLY to the USA, the country of which he was elected PRESIDENT.

@Ineeddentures You are using common sense. When one does that, things just...make sense.

The main point is that these are criminals, and it makes no sense whatsoever to allow criminals to roam free. Imagine someone breaks into your house and decides they just want to live there. Will you turn the police away and allow the burglars to stay put?
I hardly think so. But that's exactly what these people have done. They broke into our country, they tax our system through welfare programs and healthcare, and are not here on any legal standing.
Detain them and send them home.

I don't think so. Other Filipino illegal immigrants went back here in the Philippines just because of that US law.
