A lot of things were due today.
The last RO serviceman did not do a good job so we filed a complaint with the company.
They sent a senior person who rectified by changing one of the filters and a stop valve.
Here, TDS can go beyond 1000 so we need strong filters.
Some places in Delhi NCR do have better water but not all.
It did take a good enough time.
Then we had a person from a company named "Urban Company" that provides Paid Washroom Cleaning service. i went for Intense cleaning service. The charges are slightly higher but since we get it done once in 4/5 months, it is fine.
It also took 2 to 3 hours.
Yet the biggest challenge is the heat coupled with high humidity.
The humidity seems the worst for this season.
Monsoon rains are still 11 to 13 days far off.
We did had a wetter (wettest in decades) May so we were spared the high heat on many days.
Now with 40 C plus mercury and high humidity, it is a big challenge.
Anyways, I am trying to enjoy my time here today.
What's up in your corner?

We've been having more storms than normal for our part of the US this year... The humidity is almost always high here, too. The storms do help keep the heat down but the humidity can drive us crazy at times. It was raining earlier this morning but has stopped for now. The humidity is at 98% right now. We are expecting storms later this morning and afternoon.
We have hard water here, too, and it can leave stains in the sinks, toilet and leave buildup in pots and pans if we aren't careful. Even glasses that have water left in them can show calcium rings unless I scrub them with vinegar.
I hope you're having a good evening/night in your part of the world.

Hard water can be very testing. As our water supplies are not good enough, we need a RO system, with regular maintenance and upkeep required.
Hats off to you for living well enough in High Humidity.
I suppose you would have to keep AC on for a good enough time.

Yes else it becomes a very big challenge to counter the heat and humidity.
Which brand AC do you have?
Carrier/BlueStar/Hitachi/Panasonic or some other one?

Rain
Scuppered our weekend plans
Not good.
Paid Washroom Cleaning Service.
Don't think that we have that here.
Should I know what they do by their title or is there more to it

The name itself implies. They come with good and strong cleaners and have a machine as well for better cleaning.
Households often lack time and expertise to clean that well.
Not likely to be a kind of service that could be available in UK or US.

Combined bathroom and Toilet, which we now fancifully call as Washroom.

We also do it but the specialized cleaners are able to handle grease and extra soap residuals on the bathroom floors which we are unable to take out.
Then they also have a special machine which they use on the tiles and floors which we are unable to do.
And at reasonable rates.

Yes, high heat and humidity would be commonplace in your place.
May be for many more months than we have.

It's drizzling here.ecen as I'm responding to your post. Last night I could not sleep due to heat and humidity. I took a bath, but that did not work
Tonight I'll have a sound sleep

Areas with higher water hardness need more RO maintenance.

Yes there can be some excesses but regular water supplies fail to filter out many harmful microbes.
That makes RO market a very big one in India.
