Years ago, when I was younger, I used to like a curly wurly. For those who are not familar with this ....a curly wurly was toffee made into a lace effect and then covered in chocolate. They were about ten inches long. It has been many years since I had one and then a few weeks ago I saw a bag in the supermarket really really cheap. I stocked up. instead of being so long these were shorter pieces and worm like. They were still delicious. All the bags are now gone but I am sitting here craving a curly wurly.....how many hours til the shops open ...... what is your favourite treat ......

I don't know that I have a "favorite" treat... There are a lot of different things I enjoy. We just ate cinnamon rolls a day or two ago. I love them but Pretty won't let me buy them very often... Or, I guess, since she does my grocery shopping, she tells me the store doesn't have any and, since I don't go in, I can't say she's lying to me. Do you like Tootsie Rolls or Starbursts? I have some of each of those right now... I only eat two or three of them at a time and I'm done with them for a few days.

@Traceyjayne Tootsie Rolls are chocolate taffy rolled into a log. The ones I get are very small. Yes, I've had Opal Fruits before... Starbursts are just like those!

@DaddyEvil I think we had similar to the Tootsie roll but I can't remember what they were called.

I have not heard of those before, but now I know! My favorite treat is a a funnel cake. They are usually at fairs and carnivals, as well as amusement parks, and I love them. I haven’t had one in decades!

@Traceyjayne It is a sweet, crispy deep fried cake that generally has the batter poured in swirls. Traditionally, powdered sugar is shaken atop it. It’s like a crispy taste of heaven. To call it merely a “cake” is an insult to the wonder of its creation.
